    Tom Bacon is serving as a Western Region Volunteer Town and Country Church Planting Consultant.

    He returned September, 2002 as missionary of the North American Mission Board's Church Planting Group serving as Director of Missions and Brotherhood for the Nevada State Convention.

    Before appointment by the Home Mission Board, he served pastorates in California and Nevada, including two bi-vocational pastorates.

    A native of Texas, Bacon is a graduate of California Baptist College and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.

    He and his wife, the former Thelma Clamp have four children: Charles, Tom, Michael, and Gladys.
